L’ instinct animal bondissant sur les émotions qu’il détecte comme un radar, la sensibilité juchée sur les mots, Nordin Hildegard empoigne l’interprétation de ses titres avec la même intensité qu’un acteur jouant son premier grand rôle. Caustiques ou romantiques, ses prestations scéniques, en France et en Europe, percent le public d’une présence pétrie d’humour et d’une gravité savamment maîtrisée.

L’ artiste ne badine pas avec l’amour de la musique qui l’accompagne depuis l’enfance, entre une mère allemande et un père algérien. Artisan de son atelier intérieur, il assouplit sans relâche toutes les cordes de son arc : vocales et instrumentales, pour nous livrer la puissance d’une force construite pas à pas et d’une vulnérabilité sans artifice. Comme l’a indiqué Francis Cabrel « un sacré tempérament » qui lui vaut la reconnaissance de ses pairs. Lauréat, entre autres, de La Nuit des stars sur RTL9, il est aussi abondamment sollicité pour prêter sa plume et sa voix au service d’autres chanteurs, d’autant que ce globe-trotter jongle aussi facilement avec l’anglais, l’espagnol et l’allemand.

Le voici dans un nouveau répertoire guitare-voix, prenant appui sur les épreuves et les cadeaux qui ont érigé son parcours, défiant tout formatage d’une variété française qu’il affectionne avec distance. With the passion of an actor starring in his first major role, Nordin Hildegard, uses his music to reveal both an intensity of raw emotion, and a touching sensitivity that teeters delicately throughout his lyrics. Raised by a German mother and an Algerian father, the artist certainly isn’t playing around with a love of music that has followed him since childhood. And yet, whether incisive or romantic, his performances touch his audiences as much through their humor as through their tempered sobriety and as much through their vulnerability as through their power. The richness of his talents, both vocal and instrumental, as well as his strong character, have earned him the recognition of his peers. He has participated in and won several competitions, notably La Nuit des stars on RTL9, and he is often solicited to write songs for other singers, especially as he is at home not only in his native language, but in English, Spanish and German.

Having explored many forms of varieté française, currently, Hildegard is focusing on going back to the essentials: a man and his guitar, purifying his sounds and raising his voice in a hymn to life.
